I am a 3D Environment artist and asset creator, turning my thoughts and dreams into places I can go.
I first started in Product design creating physical things through a logical and practical creation process, seeing how objects are put together and physically work. This produced a real understanding of how materials look and feel, which enhanced my 3D works.
Once I had the technical and practical knowledge of building and creating an object I went into Graphics Design, hungry to enhance my artistic and creative abilities.
Learning how colour and composing an image in the right way creates something truly stimulating for the viewer. Experimenting with mediums through a more creative lens caused me to think about how I could produce unique pieces. This pushed me towards targeting my finished pieces to how they would be interesting to an audience, shaping the theoretical by my practical.
Always being inspired and taken away into states of whimsy and fantasy I was fascinated by film, games and other forms of visual media. My university course, studying Animation and Visual Effects introduced me into a number of different practices that expanded on my previous conceptions of what was already within these industries, as well as several others and expanding on others. This showed me what avenue of where I wanted to go within this Industry.
Since graduating from university I have worked on a number of small projects and worked alongside progressing my own technical and artistic skills, as well as improve my personal management.
